Unfortunately each denomination has their own path to Eternal Life.

Through some denominations you may have to take a number of classes. Through some denominations you may have to succeed in a number of good deeds. Through some denominations you may have to say a special prayer. With some, after accomplishing these acts you are sealed forever, however with some you can loose this privilege and have to start over.

What if I were to tell you that ALL of these ways are wrong. What if I were to tell you that the path to Eternal Life was so simple that a child could understand it. (Matthew 18:3-5)

It starts with sin. Because of humankind's sin nature we are spiritually separated from GOD. (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23)

There is a penalty for sin. Death, both the physical and the spiritual. (Romans 6:23a)

However, even in our wretched sinful state GOD still loves us. He loves us so much that He both created us and then bought us back from that position of being in sin. (Psalms 139:15-16, John 3:16)

Christ, part of the Trinity of GOD, came to this Earthly realm, entered into a physical body and paid that debt of sin with His life on the Cross in our place for our souls. (Philippians 2:6-8, 1 John 2:2)

Then, in His great wisdom, chose to give the offer of Eternal Life to us freely, as a gift, out of love. (Romans 6:23b, Ephesians 2:8-9)

If this is a gift, then all you need to do to receive it is to accept this gift. There is no work you need to do, no class you need to take, no prayer you need to say that will give you Eternal Life.

To receive this gift you simply acknowledge Christ, that is all. Openly acknowledge who He is and what He did for you.(Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 10:9-10)

If anyone teaches anything other than what the scriptures tell us then they are in danger of being cursed by GOD. (Galatians 1:8-9)
